The Relax FIR sauna is portable, light weight,
and easy to set up or take down. It takes up very
little floor space.
As a portable unit, you have no remodeling or construction
cost to your home. Permanently installed home saunas
can cost you $4,000 for more. And like a swimming
pool or fruit bearing outdoor trees, these "home
improvements" do not increase the sales price of a
home; they often decrease it.
When the sauna is in use, the person sits inside,
except for his/her head. This Relax FIR unit (shown
left in the picture below ) measures 38" tall,
27" wide, and 32" deep, using standard 120 volt
electrical current.
The puny, pathetic, bargain-priced, Brand X sauna
(shown right in the picture below) is too small for
an average or above-average size adult. Don't be
snookered by unbelievably low prices. It may fit
your budget but not your body.
Notice that the chair in the Relax FIR sauna
(left) is comfortable and suffficent in size.
The one in the Brand X unit (right) is exceedingly
small. Imagine sitting on that little thing for
20 to 30 minutes.
It's so easy to take down the sauna to store
it compactly. A therapist or a physician, for example, can
fold it up and easily take it to his/her next
appointment--several times per day.
The graphic shown below illustrates how far infrared
heat and energy circulate when the heating units
are in operation.
The heaters and timing control feature are shown in the photo below.
The heaters are placed on the floor, and the warmth rotates
upward in a clockwise fashion.
Not only does this sauna come in the sitting
up position shown earlier, but there is also
a "lie down" version shown above. This is
great for people with back issues, as well
as those who would simply enjoy laying down
and taking the sauna at the same time.
The technology, power and price are similar
for both models. Choose the one that meets
your needs.
This sauna gets you to sweat quickly and easily
in 10 to 15 minutes. The temperature rises to
140 Fahrenheit in three minutes. The self-temperature
control system keeps sauna temperatures in the 165
to 175 degree range--cooler than a conventional
heat-only, old fashioned sauna, which heats to 190
degrees slowly, but only heats--not penetrates--
your skin.
Lawrence Wilson, M.D., shown above, describes the benefits of
far infrared saunas, as well as how someone should
use a far infrared sauna. Click here

The Relax FIR Sauna comes with two unique radiators,
made with self-temperature control semiconductors.
Although ceramic is not a conductor, by changing its
atom structure, ceramic can conduct. And when electric
current goes through these semiconductors, it creates
heat.
The unit is made in Taiwan (map shown above)
by the Chung Cheng Electrical
